Tips for Reiki and Dowsing for Dogs and Cats

Many times I have been asked what a pendulum is used for and if it’s considered “magic”.  Pendulums are not evil.  For a long time I was afraid of using my pendulum in front of my clients for fear they thought I was practicing witchcraft.  It is not that at all.

Pendulums are an antennae to our higher knowing.  Asking the pendulum is in a way asking the pets higher knowing, or our higher knowing and getting answers.  It tunes into a higher vibration.

Using a pendulum when practicing Reiki is just another way of tuning into the energy.  Many Reiki practitioners, including me, will use the Reiki to check the balance of the chakras or energy centers of the body.  If you hold the pendulum over the energy center and ask if  it is balanced, it will swing in a clockwise direction if it is open and balanced.  If it swings in a counterclockwise direction, it usually means it is closed.

If you get a closed answer, all you have to do is send Reiki to that energy center until you feel it is complete, and then use the pendulum again.  It will swing clockwise if it is open and energized.  Many times I have found that the stronger, or bigger the circle it is, the more energized the chakra is.

If you are not familiar with the chakras, a chakra chart can be very beneficial.  There are different colors associated with each energy center.  And the same chakras that are in humans, are also in dogs, cats and horses.

How To Check Pet Chakras

Dog chakras as well as cats and horses, will become blocked just like humans.  You can use the pendulum to check the dog or pets energy centers either while the dog is standing or laying down.  If that isn’t easy to accomplish, then it is just as easy, and just as accurate to hold the pendulum over the chakra chart and ask the question using the pets name.

When the chakras or energy centers become blocked, it can result in feeling depressed, ill health, stress or many types of symptoms of dis-ease.  Many times, just checking the chakras, and clearing them will give an immense relief in the body and mental attitude.

The next time you are feeling down in the dumps, and feel like something is wrong and can’t quite figure it out, use the pendulum to see if your energy centers are blocked.  Or if your pet is not feeling well, and is run down, check the energy centers.

In fact, we can go one step further in this process.  Even if you are across the state or the nation or on the other side of the world, you can use the dowsing system to check and and clear chakras using the pendulum and Reiki.

Let me know if you have tried this, and how it works for you…

Just wanted to say I am here. I have read the article. I sometimes feel I have trouble getting answers from my pendulum. It will swing both ways in the same questions. I am not sure if I can trust what I get sometimes. Thanks again

I too, have had trouble with the pendulum swinging both directions to the same question? I noticed that the pendulum mentioned above is rose quartz, does it make a difference what the pendulum is made of?? I was put onto Malachite?

    Cheers

It doesn’t matter what type of stone you use. I like rose quartz because of the healing properties of quartz, and the rose quartz resonates with love. But honestly, you can use anything that swings evenly as a pendulum. I have even used a necklace in a pinch. It is just another tool for tuning in to higher vibration.
